Our labels are tested in accordance with BS 5609 "Marine Water Certification," Section 3. This means that not only the material but the entire printed, finished label is tested for durability. The labels must withstand a three-month immersion in salt water as well as tests for abrasion and legibility, confirming their resistance for sea transport.
